Kentucky ARES

In the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Amateur Radio Emergency Service and the National Traffic System are combined into one organization with various levels of coordination as illustrated below.

Registerring for KY ARES or Applying for a Leadership Position:

If you are interested in joining ARES in Kentucky, please use the KY ARES Registration Form. It is transmitted to the Section Emergency Coordinator and forwarded to your local ARES Coordinators.

If you are an ARRL member, and interested in applying for a position in ARES leadership, please review the requirements for the that position. Click on the appropriate link to see the duties of Official Emergency Station, Emergency Coordinator, or District Emergency Coordinator. Then, use the may KY ARES Station Appointment Application Form to send your information to the Section Emergency Coordinator.
